Make An Impact in Your Community as an Angel on Call
This video clip is from an interview I did as a guest on The David Johnson Show. As a digital marketing professional, I feel most connected with my profession when I am giving back to the community that I am a part of. This is something that my father instilled in me and everyone in my family and is something that I am so grateful for.
Finding your passion often starts with a great business idea and starting a business. It is equally as important to expand this energy and passion to help make a difference, an impact, in your very own community by helping our neighbors when there is a crisis.
In the clip, I describe an initiative that is taking shape in Phoenix led by the largest St. Vincent De Paul chapter in the world called Angels on Call Charity Network.
As a member of the St. Vincent de Paul advisory board, I vividly remember when this was a crazy idea that soon became one of those Big Hairy Audacious Goals (BHAG) to make a reality. It is extremely exciting to see this coming to life and already impacting families in need.
If you are interested in learning about the Angels on Call Charity Network, join in on the first-ever Live-Streaming Event on July 23rd at 6:00 pm. We are also reaching out to those that may be interested in being a Founding member.
7/23/2020 at 6 pm (PST) – Angels on Call Charity Network Live Event
In the comfort of your own home, learn about how SVdP will help Arizonans in need, especially those on the brink of homelessness due to COVID. This is important to me because I want to live in a community that cares for the vulnerable. If you do too, let’s build this together.
The Angels on Call Charity Network App is being rolled out as a Minimally Viable Product, also known as an MVP, built in a Progressive Web App framework. This is the first generation of the app and we welcome you to get involved as a user in the Angel on Call Charity Network and share with us your experience so that we may build something together that can serve as a model for helping neighbors in need across the globe.
