Beer for Brains Foundation 2nd Annual Troon North Craft Beer Golf Classic May 21
May is brain cancer awareness month and you may be asking yourself…
”Self, how can I bring awareness to brain cancer and help save the lives of adults and children by finding a cure?”
Glad you asked!
The 2nd annual Troon North Craft Beer Golf Classic will be going on on Saturday, May 21st. At this event, top local and national breweries get behind this cause by donating their tasty craft beer and setting up shop on the tee boxes of Troon North. In addition to great craft beer, there will be raffles, contests and great prizes to be won throughout the day and we then finish up with a great dinner at the Troon North Golf Club.
This is an event by The Beer for Brains Foundation (BFBF) that MINT Social supports and sponsors. This charity came on my radar last year when I lost my father to a glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) brain tumor. BFBF raises awareness and money for finding a cure for brain cancer. This year the proceeds from this event support GBM Agile, a cutting edge research team at ASU that is changing the way cancer clinical trials are conducted to accelerate finding a cure for brain cancer.
