Solving the Content Problem with Your Android Phone
Waiting for a Rainy Day to Write a Blog Post? Well, it was raining yesterday in Arizona, did you get your blog post written?
Here’s a tip for making writing content easy, especially if you have an android phone. Do you see that little button on your Android phone in the shape of a microphone? Push it and say, “note to self”. It will start transcribing your words into text that you can email to yourself. The transcription is not perfect but this will get you in the habit of writing a blog post this way.
By taking advantage of idle time (like I’m doing right now talking on my phone while driving and paying attention to the road), you can be more productive. I wrote a blog post a while back on how to use Google Voice to write blog posts. By using tools like Google Voice and your Android phone to write blog posts, you can be productive anytime and just about anywhere in less than three minutes. By simply dictating your voice, in less than 3 minutes, you will create text and audio file that is the right length for a blog post. This will transcribe to about 300-350 word of text.
So getting an idea for writing blog post gets back to having a content strategy. You should have 4 or 5 top terms that are driving your online business that if you write about on a regular basis. This will help your content to will be picked up via RSS and you will become more relevant in search engines and social media sites for these terms.
Recap:
- Use your Android Phone to convert voice into text
- Write optimized blog posts on the top terms that drive your online business, which will…
- Build your online credibility and visibility (making you the expert)
Yes, it is easy only if you make time on a regular basis.
Takeaway: Create opportunities with your idle time (like being in the car driving) to turn your voice into a blog post
Next Step: Do some content marketing for your business today!
